As of February 24th, Professor Sunjun Kim joined us in the Department of Information and Communication Engineering at DGIST.
Professor Sunjun Kim received BS, Master, and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from KAIST, Daejeon, Korea in 2009, 2011, 2017 respectively. He worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher in KAIST GSCT, Korea and Aalto University, Finland for about three years.
His current research interest lies in human-computer interaction and input device technologies. He has been working on development of user performance profile and input device optimization through user-adaptive input devices.
He has published 21 international peer-reviewed papers, mainly on top-tier HCI conferences such as ACM CHI and ACM UIST. He received three UIST Student Innovation Contest (2011, 2012, 2014), NAVER Ph.D. fellowship award in 2016, and four best papers and honorable mention awards in ACM CHI (2013, 2018), ACM ISS (2018), and MobilcHCI (2019).
